Terms of Use

The basic rules for using Gergo as a buyer, seller, or visitor.

These terms help keep Gergo clear, fair, and safe for local listings.

Effective date: 2026

Using Gergo

Gergo is a classifieds marketplace that allows users to discover, post, and communicate about local listings. By using Gergo, users agree to use the platform responsibly and provide accurate information.

Listings and seller responsibility

  • Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of listing titles, photos, prices, descriptions, and availability.
  • Listings must not be misleading, illegal, offensive, duplicated in abusive ways, or unrelated to the selected category.
  • Gergo may review, limit, hide, or remove listings that appear unsafe, misleading, abusive, or inappropriate.

Buyer responsibility

  • Buyers should verify listing details directly with the seller.
  • Buyers are responsible for checking item condition, vehicle documents, property documents, service details, and seller identity before completing a deal.
  • Gergo does not guarantee the outcome of transactions between users.

Payments and transactions

Gergo does not currently process buyer-to-seller payments inside the platform. Any payment, deposit, meeting, delivery, inspection, or agreement is handled directly between buyer and seller unless explicitly stated otherwise in a future official Gergo payment flow.

Prohibited use

  • Fraud, scams, impersonation, or misleading listings.
  • Illegal goods or services.
  • Offensive, abusive, or harmful content.
  • Attempts to bypass security, abuse the platform, or misuse other users’ information.
  • Fake listings, fake prices, or fake availability.

Promotions and visibility

Featured or Elite visibility may be offered manually or through approved Gergo processes. Promotion availability, duration, price, and approval may vary during the launch phase. Gergo does not guarantee leads, views, sales, or transaction outcomes.

Account actions and moderation

Gergo may limit, remove, or review content or accounts if they appear to violate these terms, harm users, or damage the marketplace.

Changes to these terms

Gergo may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of Gergo means users accept the updated terms.
